Tiffany Loera

Training Communications & Logistics Co-Officer

Tiffany is an applied medical anthropologist that has recently completed her MSc in Biosocial Medical Anthropology from the University College London (UCL) in 2020. Tiffany's research interests include biosocial medical approaches to trauma, stress and women's health using the Syndemic framework.  

 

Prior to attending UCL, Tiffany obtained her BA in Anthropology with a minor in Community Health Sciences from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2018.

 

Tiffany is currently pursuing her second masters degree at City Law School obtaining an LLM in International Human Rights Law while also working as a Medical Laboratory Assistant and Administrative Assistant at a private healthcare provider in London, England. Tiffany hopes to obtain a PhD in medical anthropology later down the track.

In her role as a Training Communications & Logistics Co-Officer, Tiffany supports in the communications and logistical aspects of the Academy Programme 2021. Tiffany also works on a variety of projects for the UK Model WHO including website design, blog editorial and publishing, and assisting with content drafting and design.

​

Tiffany joined the UK Model WHO because she is passionate about health equity and aspires to begin a career in global health policy. Outside of work, Tiffany enjoys watching films of any genre, reading, painting and running long distances.
