Riani Kenyon

Co-Head of Design

Riani grew up in South Africa and attended Pro Arte Alphen Park (an art school), where she specialised in Printmaking and Design, achieving distinctions in both subjects and receiving the award for one of the Top 10 students in her year. Her works were also showcased at the State Theatre Gala in Pretoria, for which she received a certificate of merit.

Currently, Riani is a BSc Anthropology student at University College London, where she was a Student Representative and Ambassador for the Anthropology Department. In 2020 she was a Millennium Fellow for Millennium Campus Network and United Nations Academic Impact where she founded Pathos, which focused on Sustainable Development Goals 12 and 13. She also teaches English to KS3, GCSE and A-Level students who have been excluded from school. In her free time, she makes YouTube videos and studies Japanese.

Her interest in global health was piqued when she learned about Human Ecology in the Biological Anthropology module in her first year of university. In her second year of university she chose the Medical Anthropology module and her interest deepened. In the future, she would like to be involved in global policy decision making, particularly within the United Nation or the World Health Organisation.
