Jooyoung Moon
 

Training Research Officer

Jooyoung is a licensed physician in South Korea, currently working in a medically underserved area as a chief emergency physician.

Originally from the United States, he completed his medical studies at the Korea University College of Medicine and trained at Samsung Medical Center.

Jooyoung joined the UK Model WHO as a research officer to meet and work with other health professionals with similar interests in public health, health policy, and health disparities.

His previous independent research works have been presented at numerous international conferences. In 2021, Jooyoung received the Paul Dudley White International Scholar Award from the American Heart Association.

Outside of work, he enjoys being active through biking, running, traveling, and recreational horseback riding. He also likes to indulge in both literary and visual arts, from writing fiction to seeing special museum exhibitions.
